Electricity Usage
The use of electricity at the Frank Harris Training Centre and across the Fanwood site is strictly for authorised building and activity use only. It must not be used to charge electric vehicles or to power campervans or caravans.
Our electrical infrastructure is not designed to support the high-power demands of vehicle charging or external accommodation, and unauthorised use may pose a safety risk and impact the availability of power for essential services.

Drone Flights
In the interests of safeguarding our young people, drones must not be flown, taken off, landed, or flown over Fanwood Scout & Guide Campsite at any time.
This includes all drone activity, regardless of height or purpose. This policy is in line with Scouts UK and Spen Valley Scout District guidance and is in place to protect the safety, privacy, and well-being of everyone on site.
Drone use is only permitted with prior approval from either the Fanwood Management Committee, the District Trustee Board, or the District Lead Volunteer. We ask all visitors, volunteers, and contractors to respect this rule at all times.
