The main aim is for the activity centre to be enjoyed by all and be a great asset not only for Scouting and other young people but for the local community

Last weekend we visited Fanwood as members of a Civil War reenactors society. We have done this for the last few years and have had a wonderful time on each and every occasion.The accomodation is always neat and clean, warm and comfortable and there is lots of room; The kitchen facilities are all you could need with the exception of the oven which is very, very slow.The lady warden is so very friendly and helpful. She doesn't bother you but is always willing to help when asked. Nothing at all is any problem and she is a great advert for the place.We were all very disappointed to hear that she will be leaving in February (2015) and wish her a wonderful and appreciated future.Thanks for all your help xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAnnette Stowe.
